The "Katana" 5400 - The forceful further development of the fine-tuning tremolo!
Incidentally, the new 5400 is now also compatible with "hot rod strats" without undercutting (free floating).
The Katana is its reputation. The "One Block Design" of the Bell-Brass tremolo represents a strong tone with lots of overtones. The positive overtones even increases while "diving" so that it opens into a long-standing sound. The tremolo can be played even more comfortably thanks to the enlarged palm rest.
The solid machined body accommodates 6 saddles which can be set individually and comfortably by screws, infinitely adjustable in height and intonation. The once found saddle setting we save by lateral locking screws from the side. Since the strings are clamped flat in the tuning lever, we eliminate the risk of string breakage.
Likewise, part of the body is the replaceable knife edge made of hardened spring steel. In terms of service-friendliness each component is replaceable!
The tremolo arm rests in an adjustable "DELRIN" socket and is consistent "plug in and play".
Due to the short construction of the tremolo an extreme "up-bending" is possible.
The Katana is compatible with guitars that wear an original Floyd Rose "classic". For instruments without a tremolo plate pocket please use the "floating" operation.
Material: The bridge body is milled of Bell-Brass, the tremolo block milled of metal, steel bolts and brass sleeves, replaceable knife edge made of spring steel,
