Good Tone`s Vintage 50 is the most convincing reproduction of the single-coil classic from the 1950s.

Our Vintage Strat Pickup shows the same specifications of a 1954 Strat. In this time Formvar wire was used. This bony attack was produced with nice warmth and used until 1964.

The result is a very warm strat sound with nice mids which is typical for the Dire Straits Knopfler tone and Eric Johnson's favorite. The mid positions are slightly nasal but with this Knopfler tone in Pos. 2 and Robert Cray in Pos. 4.

The pickups come with an impedance of 5.8 kOhm at the neck, 6.0 in the middle and 6.2 at the bridge.

All Stratocaster Single Coils, P-90 Soapbars and Dogears are delivered standard sided without cover! Please select the desired cover in the accessory area!

We supply all Stratocaster mid position pickups in the "reversed version", that is, polarity is turned and the pickup is wrapped the other way round! Thus, the mid position pickup is still in phase with the bridge or bridge pickup, but we achieve the humbucker effect without the noises for the intermediate positions.
